Dorian Garson

Founder

Dorian created Headlamp with one goal in mind: find more bugs.

He's a passionate maker, software developer, and a former Microsoft Test Team Manager.

Dorian studied Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a minor in Business Administration. He lives on Whidbey Island in Washington State, USA.

David Schwam

Chief Strategy Officer

David Schwam is Headlamp’s chief strategy officer and global business leader.

As chief strategy officer, David leads the development and execution of Headlamp’s corporate strategy, including the company’s focus on priority service lines and the realignment of its product and solution portfolio. He also is a leader in Headlamp’s marketing and partnership activities.

As global business leader of Headlamp’s Enterprise Services, he leads the company’s core services portfolio encompassing all functions, including finance and accounting, order management, source to pay, supply chain, and enterprise risk.

As global business leader of the Test Analytics business, David focuses on defining and meeting the growing transformation needs of our clients, with a focus on leveraging data and analytics to derive actionable insights for meaningful business outcomes.

David also serves on the board of directors of ASX, a leading provider of digital transformation IT solutions and services.

During his 30-year career, David has developed deep expertise in strategy, corporate development and change management. He has worked with start-ups, a strategy consulting firm, and Fortune 500 environments to create, build, and drive strategies to grow revenue, enhance shareholder value, and secure market leadership.

He joined Headlamp from GuardianArc International, where he spent more than two years in a variety of senior roles and most recently was partner, market business leader – Retirement for the East Market. Prior to that, David worked with the Boston Consulting Group, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and MarketBridge Consulting. He also has a long record of multi-cultural experiences, having worked across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

David has a master’s degree in business administration from University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
